Italy runs in the family. Louisa's grandmother is from Rome, and Louisa spent a few weeks of every childhood summer in Orentano, just down the road from where we're getting married. Gabriel's German roots meant a European wedding felt natural for both families.

Over the past few years Louisa and Gabriel embraced many trips to Europe, and Italy quickly became our place too: Bologna at Louisa's family's apartment and a continued tradition of a summer week in Orentano.
